Chocolate Chip Cookie Pizza
When I need to feed dessert to a crowd in a hurry, my go-to recipe is cookie pizza. Yes, pizza cookies may just essentially be one giant cookie. But what’s not to love about that?!
Gooey, warm, dotted with chocolate chips, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this tasty treat. Serve it warm with ice cream, or cut up and cooled – no matter how you slice it, chocolate chip cookie pizza is sure to please any group!

Ingredients Needed for a Pizza Cookie
- Butter softened – I use salted butter! If you only have unsalted, add a pinch of salt to your dough.
- Granulated sugar
- Brown sugar – This recipe calls for equal parts brown and granulated sugar to help it keep it’s pizza shape but also stay nice and soft
- Egg
- Vanilla – We want lots of vanilla here! Trust me. It’s the star of this show.
- All purpose flour
- baking soda
- salt
- Chocolate chips – Feel free to go crazy with the mix-ins here- chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, m&m’s, if you can think it, add it in there!

How to Make this Cookie Pizza Recipe
- Preheat the oven to 350° F.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer or with an electric hand mixer, cream together the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar.
- Add the egg and vanilla. Mix until light in color and creamy.
- Add in the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda and salt), mix into the dough. Mix until completely combined. The dough will be soft.
- Gather the dough into one large ball and place in the center of a greased cookie sheet or pizza pan.
- Flatten the cookie dough down and into a large flat circle.
- Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes or until the center no longer looks wet and glossy and the entire thing has puffed up.
- Allow to cool before cutting. Decorate with frosting and sprinkles, if desired.

Can I use store-bought dough for making a cookie pizza?
You sure can! I can’t guarantee that it will be as delicious as this recipe (hi, cookie queen here), but it will still be good!
Can I customize the toppings?
Absolutely! If you can think to add it, you can put it in this recipe! Try adding m&m’s, peanut butter chips, nuts, frosting the top – really, do anything you’d like!
