Just because it’s crazy simple doesn’t mean it can’t be absolutely delish! This 3 ingredient banana bread is going to blow. your. mind. Extremely moist (sorry for using that word), flavorful and delightfully banana-y, you will never want for another banana bread recipe. And did I mention it’s superrr easy to make? Well, it is. You can have this in the oven in a matter of minutes!
Mix it up by switching out the cake mix you use – making it extra chocolatey with devil’s food cake mix or keeping it more classic with a white cake mix, you really can’t go wrong. You can also customize this recipe by adding in chopped nuts or chocolate chips, depending on your preferences. I simply cannot wait for you to try this one!

3 Ingredient Banana Bread
- Boxed cake mix – I used a chocolate cake mix but you could use white, yellow or another cake mix flavor as desired.
- Over ripe bananas
- Eggs
*You can also add extras like chocolate chips or nuts, if you’d like!

How to Make Banana Bread without Butter
- Preheat the oven to 350° F. With non-stick spray, spray 2 small loaf pans or 1 large loaf pan. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas using an electric hand mixer.
- Add the eggs and mix until thoroughly distributed.
- Add the cake mix to the bowl and mix until a thick batter forms.
- Divide and pour the batter into the pan.
- Bake at 350° F for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool before cutting.
- Enjoy!

How should I store my easy banana bread?
Once cooled, store your bread in an airtight container on the counter for up to 3 days! This bread will also freeze really well and can be stored in a resealable freezer bag for up to 3 months.
