Oreo Truffle Recipe

If you’re a fan of chocolate + peppermint, you’re going to LOVE these oreo truffle balls. Richly decadent, these treats take crushed oreos and mix them with cream cheese and crushed peppermints until they’re smooth and creamy and then encases it in chocolate. Oreo balls are sooooo good, even Scrooge cannot find a fault with them.

Perfect for Christmas parties, holiday neighbor gifts, or even left out for Santa, peppermint oreo truffles are sure to get you on the nice list. So crank up the Christmas tunes (don’t come at me, I like early Christmas music, okay?) and whip these up to welcome the holiday season in the yummiest way possible.

Ingredients in Peppermint Oreo Balls

  • Oreos – Just use the regular oreos, not double stuffed. You’ll want to leave the filling in the oreos when you crush them.
  • Crushed soft peppermints – I love Bob’s sweet stripes peppermints because they don’t stick to your teeth.
  • Cream cheese, room temperature – Can use light cream cheese, if desired.
  • White chocolate chips – You can use milk, or dark chocolate chips instead, if desired. I just personally like white chocolate!
