Peaches and Cream Recipe

I’m not exaggerating when I say that I can (and attempt to) eat peaches and cream every day during peach season. It’s just too easy and too good to not! If you’re looking for a sweet treat that you can whip up (literally) in less than 15 minutes that everyone will love, give this recipe a shot!

There’s a barn a few miles away that sells this yummy treat by the truckload at the end of summer. The combo of the cream and fresh peaches has people lining up every single night – and for good reason! The juicy nectar from the peach paired with the sweet cream is irresistable! Which is why I started buying their peaches in bulk and making it for myself at home. You and your family will love this quick and easy take on an old classic. Make it in a trifle or as individual servings and watch it become your new favorite end-of-summer tradition!

Ingredients for Homemade Peaches & Cream

  • Fresh peaches, ripe, peeled and sliced
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla, divided
  • Heavy whipping cream – You could *technically* use cool whip to make this super easy, but it won’t be nearly as good.
  • Powdered sugar

  1. In a bowl, peel and slice the fresh peaches.
  2. Add the granulated sugar and 1/2 tsp of vanilla, stir to coat and set aside.
  3. In a bowl of a stand mixer or with an electric hand mixer, whip the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar and the remaining 1/2 tsp of vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  4. In your serving dish, layer a spoonful of peach with the syrup and then a layer of whipped cream. Repeat until the serving dish is full or you are satisfied with the serving.
  5. Serve immediately & enjoy!
