7 Layer Bar Recipe

7 layer bars are a heavenly mixture of your favorite nuts, sweet chips, chewy coconut and caramel-y sweetened condensed milk. In short, they’re heaven in a bar!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F. Line a 9x13 pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
  • Press into the bottom of the prepared 9x13 pan.
  • In the large bowl, toss the semisweet chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, shredded coconut and chopped pecans together.
  • Pour over the graham cracker layer in the pan, spread until even.
  • Carefully pour the vanilla into the can of sweetened condensed milk and carefully stir to combine.
  • Drizzle the entire can onto the toppings in the pan.
  • Bake uncovered at 350° F for 20-25 min or until the bars are golden brown.
  • Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting and serving.
