I made these cookies and I had to add about three tablespoons more flour than the recipe said.

I live in TN so I don’t think it had any anything to do with that but it the brown sugar packed or just a 1/2 cup not packed I fail in love with these cookies and want to make again but it said a soft not sticky though and my dough with sticky it was sticking to my hands I added three tablespoons of flour and was able to scoop it I stuck the rest of it in the fridge by the first batch cooked and the second batch was the easier to work with so what did I do wrong thank you

12/23/24-I made these cookies today to add to my baked Christmas gifts. I tasted one and can’t believe how amazing they are. So yummy! I have added them to holiday list of cookies and will definitely be making them every year.
