Fantasy Fudge
A recipe that’s been around for decades, fantasy fudge is smooth, chocolatey and definitely worth keeping in your virtual recipe box!

semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

marshmallow creme

Instructions
Prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan by lining it with aluminum foil.
Combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk in a large pot, stirring until the sugar dissolves and the butter melts.
Bring the mixture to a rolling boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
Cook until it reaches the soft-ball stage (234°F to 240°F or 112°C to 116°C).
Remove the pot from heat, immediately add chopped semi-sweet chocolate, and stir until smooth.
Incorporate marshmallow creme and vanilla.
Fold in optional walnuts.
Quickly pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan.
Allow it to cool and set either at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
Once set, cut the fudge into squares.
Store it in an airtight container.
