- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
In a heavy bottom sauce pan, combine the brown sugar, butter and heavy cream.
Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes without stirring.
Remove from heat and add the vanilla extract.
Allow the caramel to cool before using.
