Chocolate Chipless Cookies

Chocolate Chipless Cookies are great for when you want a cookie, just without the chocolate chips. Whether you're all out of chocolate chips, or just simply don't like them (I can't relate, but I know there's some of you out there), then this recipe is for you!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup salted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • Cream together the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar.
  • Add the egg and vanilla. Mix until light in color and creamy.
  • Add in the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda and salt), mix into the dough. Mix until completely combined. The dough will be soft.
  • Scoop or roll the cookie dough out into equal sized balls. Arrange on a cookie sheet.
  • For smaller cookies (1 1/2 tbsp dough), bake at 350° for 7-9 minutes or until the edges are starting to turn golden brown. For larger cookies, use 3 tbsp of dough and bake for 9-11 minutes.
  • Allow the cookies to cool completely on the pan.
