Belvita Breakfast Biscuits Recipe

This copycat Recipe for Belvita Biscuits is filled with whole grains like oats and whole wheat flour paired with a vanilla and cinnamon flavor- these breakfast cookies are a great choice when you are on the go for an afternoon snack or in addition to a cup of yogurt for breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F (180° C). Line a cookie sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper. Set aside.
  • Combine all of the ingredients with either a stand mixer or an electric hand mixer.
  • The mixture should be crumbly, but should hold together if pressed in to a ball in your hand.
  • Transfer the mixture to your prepared pan and press into the pan using a rolling pin or your hands.
  • Bake at 350° F (180° C) for 15 minutes.
  • Pull them out of the oven and immediately use a pizza cutter to cut the biscuits into squares.
  • Allow the pan to cool completely before eating/serving. If your biscuits are still soft, you can bake them for an additional 5 minutes, if needed.
  • Store in an air tight container for up to 5 days.
