If the cookies are spreading too much, you can add up to an additional 1/4 cup of flour and see if that helps. In reply to Haleigh. Hi! Cookies can turn greasy if the butter is too melted when you add it to the dough. I recommend using room temperature butter to remedy this issue! You can also try increasing the oven temperature by about 10° so the butter doesn’t melt out too quickly.
