Hi Karli,
I am new to Cookies for Days but I love the helpful posts. This one in particular about heavy cream substitutes is fantastic, especially for those of us who are lactose intolerant. Cashews have been one of my staple go-to subs because it gives you that thick consistency like dairy. Ever since I learned the bacteria used to culture cheese and yogurt digest the lactose for you, I love using plain greek yogurt as a substitute for sour cream in dishes that call for them. Thanks so much for the yummy recipes and tips/tricks!!!
