Yes, you can. I would recommend baking within a few hours. If you are hoping to wait a day or 2, I would actually scoop into dough balls and freeze until you are ready to bake.

Made these tonight and they were so good! Never tried the original Barnes and Noble cookie but this cookie recipe was amazing. Definitely saving this recipe!

PS. Never tried using other caramels but bought the Mrs Richardson’s based on the note on the recipe and after trying it, I can most definitely see why it was recommended! So good that I could just eat it by itself. Found at Walmart too.

Would have been a 5 but way too much flour!! They only need about 3 cups. I also used white chocolate brick cup up and poured some caramel into the final dough before cooking. I don't like the cakelike texture but I will make them again and vary the flour. They should basically spread in the oven and these barely moved at all.

Flavor was phenomenal! Like everyone else cakey, and didn’t spread! I did 2 batches to ensure first batch wasn’t an accident. It came out the same- so nothing to do with measuring. If someone tries with less flour, less baking soda, or maybe use baking powder instead- let us know if you had better luck.
