In reply to <a href="https://cookiesfordays.com/how-to-make-cookies-soft-and-chewy/comment-page-1/#comment-5264">Richard Anthony Calabrese</a>.

I am glad you enjoyed the cookies - they're some of my favorites!
I typically cream the butters and sugars together for about 2 minutes for the first step. On step 4, you will mix until everything is combined and you no longer see traces of one individual ingredient (ie: the flour is fully incorporated).
Hope that helps!

I MADE YOUR "BEST HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES" RECENTLY AND WERE VERY GOOD.
STEP #4. IT WOULD BE HELPFUL TO MENTION HOW LONG TO MIX EVERYTHING TO GET THE DOUGH TO THE TEXTURE YOU HAD IN MIND.
ALSO, DOES THE DOUGH BECOME "STICKY" WHEN YOU UNDERBEAT OR WHEN YOU OVERBEAT?
THANK YOU.
