Hi Karli,
Your cake pop recipe is delicious! But as a first time user of candy melts wowza is there a learning curve or what! I had such a mess. I couldn’t get the candy thin enough to make the dipping easy. I did add shortening but that helped only a little bit. The melts started getting hard 🙄🙄 My ghosts looked like they had wrinkled sheets on them. 😂Could you please add a video for decorating your cake pops.

In reply to Bren. Yes, you can! I would make as normal and once the cake pops have fully set up, place them in a ziptop bag or airtight container and freeze for up to 3 months.

Hi I want to make these Cakesicles for Halloween and I have a question. The recipe states: 12 oz of candy melts. Does 12 oz mean just for one of the colours or divide the 12 oz and have several colours? Thank you.

Can you make these ahead and freeze them ; if so what are the procedures and how far in advance
