Amazing recipe! I was skeptical about the corn syrup and cornstarch, but it all worked out well. Beautiful cookies with a raised center and crisp edges. I used a fine salt on top since I didn’t have any flaked salt. Also added about 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate since I didn’t think a 10 oz bag of dark chocolate chips would be sufficient. Would absolutely make again!

This recipe is absolute perfection. I don’t have an electric mixer, but when using softened butter it’s easy to mix by hand. The cooking times by size are accurate. We like larger cookies and they were perfect in the 10-12 minute range.

I can’t even tell you just how amazing these cookies are. Having made chocolate cookies for forever, this by far is the best recipe.
