Can you use a homemade cake recipe? I want to make gingerbread cake pops for the holidays but am having a hard time finding a cake mix. I found a gingerbread cake recipe online but want to make sure it will work for cake pops the same way as the box mixes.

In reply to Chelsea. I do not, but you can use this recipe and sub a red velvet cake mix with a white chocolate candy melt or a chocolate cake mix with a peanut butter candy melt and follow the same process!

In reply to Shilpa. Hi! You will dip the stick in a small amount of chocolate before inserting into the cake pop and then after that has set/hardened you will dip the entire cake pop only once!
