I haven't tried substituting both types of sugar with honey. You could probably sub for both sugars, but it will obviously affect flavor, texture, and bake time. Let me know how it goes!

Hi can I change the sugar content for something else and would it need to be two different changes or just one change for both sugars as you have two different sugars. I was thinking honey depending on if you say if you take out both sugars you need to replace it with two sugars I guess home made apple sauce possibly.

This is a fantastic recipe-thank you so much! I have tweaked a couple of the ingredients but still found them to be amazing-so much that I need to put them under lock and key !!

I used freshly milled soft wheat flour and coconut oil. They’re delicious. I’d love to batch make them ahead of time - I wonder how they would freeze? Has anyone tried?

Delicious! I had a hard time believing that they would taste like Belvita's but they do! They were a little too crumbly and fell apart... if anyone has any solutions, please post :)
Otherwise, they were great!

Avocado oil is an even swap out for canola oil for future reference!

These are very good. I had run out of oil, so I used melted butter instead, and it worked fine. I used an old rectangular Tupperware cake-taker top (9.75 × 13.5") lined with parchment to press the dough into an even rectangle, then slid the parchment onto my cookie sheet. I wasn't sure how thick to roll these/what size area the dough should cover when rolled. This method gave me about 1/4" thickness, which turned out to be good. Thanks for the recipe! I'll make these again.

I make a huge batch of these almost every week. I mix up the flavors, sometimes using lemon extract instead of vanilla and lemon zest instead of cinnamon. I also do a gingerbread version, adding ground ginger and ground cloves. Sometimes I mix in dried cranberries or blueberries. Once I use mini chocolate chips. There are so many options!
